These eGift Card Terms & Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) govern the purchase, use, redemption, and management of electronic gift cards (“eGift Cards”) issued by Butterflies Beading LLC (“Butterflies Beading,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By purchasing, receiving, redeeming, or using an eGift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms.
1. eGift Card Overview
Butterflies Beading eGift Cards are electronic gift cards that may be purchased and redeemed exclusively through authorized Butterflies Beading sales channels.
eGift Cards may be used toward eligible purchases made through the Butterflies Beading website.
eGift Cards are not credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, or deposit accounts.
2. Purchase of eGift Cards
Customers may purchase eGift Cards in denominations made available on our website.
Payment must be successfully processed before an eGift Card is issued.
eGift Card purchases are digital products delivered by email. They are delivered separately from merchandise orders and do not count toward free shipping thresholds, promotional spend requirements, or merchandise discount eligibility at the time of purchase. Free shipping eligibility is calculated based on qualifying merchandise purchases at checkout.
When you purchase an eGift Card while signed in to your account, you may earn Butterflies Beading rewards on that purchase. Rewards may also be earned when an eGift Card is redeemed on eligible merchandise, unless otherwise stated.
Butterflies Beading LLC reserves the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or delay any eGift Card transaction suspected of fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or violation of these Terms.
3. Delivery of eGift Cards
eGift Cards are typically delivered electronically to the recipient’s email address.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
- Payment verification
- System processing
- Email provider delays
- Technical issues beyond our control
Butterflies Beading LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party email providers or incorrect recipient email addresses supplied by customers.
4. Recipient Ownership & Redemption Access
Gift cards purchased for another recipient may only be redeemed by the recipient account and cannot be redeemed by the purchaser.
Gift card balances, redemption activity, and gift card codes are only visible to the recipient.
Gift cards sent to another recipient are delivered to that recipient and may only be redeemed by the recipient account or email associated with the gift card, or by Butterflies Beading LLC administrators when assisting with verified support requests.
Purchasers may view delivery details for gift cards they sent, but may not access recipient balance information, gift card codes, or redemption activity unless the purchaser is also the designated recipient (for example, when purchasing a gift card for their own account email).
Gift card resend is available through Butterflies Beading LLC administrator support only.
5. Redemption
eGift Cards may be redeemed only through authorized Butterflies Beading purchasing channels for eligible standard merchandise checkout.
Gift cards cannot be used toward custom order invoices, quote-based orders, or custom design requests.
The value of an eGift Card will be applied toward eligible purchases until the available balance is exhausted.
If a purchase exceeds the available eGift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
eGift Cards may be used alongside eligible promotional discounts unless otherwise stated. Promotional codes and gift card balances are applied according to checkout rules displayed at the time of purchase.
6. Final Sale Policy
ALL eGift Card purchases are FINAL SALE.
eGift Cards:
- Are non-refundable
- Are non-returnable
- May not be redeemed for cash except where required by law
- May not be exchanged for cash value
- May not be transferred for cash consideration through Butterflies Beading
Customers are responsible for verifying recipient information before completing a purchase.
7. Lost, Deleted, or Misdelivered eGift Cards
Customers are responsible for providing accurate recipient information.
Butterflies Beading LLC is not responsible for:
- Incorrect email addresses provided by customers
- Recipient email filtering
- Spam filtering
- Deleted emails
- Unauthorized access to recipient email accounts
If proof of purchase can be verified, Butterflies Beading LLC may, at its sole discretion, assist with reissuing an eGift Card.
Reissuance is not guaranteed.
8. Fraud Prevention
Butterflies Beading LLC reserves the right to:
- Refuse transactions
- Delay issuance
- Suspend gift card balances
- Cancel gift cards
- Investigate suspicious activity
when fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, chargeback abuse, or policy violations are suspected.
Any determination made by Butterflies Beading LLC regarding suspected fraud shall be final.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute occurs involving an eGift Card purchase:
- The associated eGift Card may be suspended.
- The associated balance may be revoked.
- Future purchases may be restricted.
Butterflies Beading LLC reserves all rights to recover improperly obtained balances.
10. Promotional eGift Cards
From time to time, Butterflies Beading LLC may issue promotional, complimentary, or bonus gift cards.
Promotional gift cards may:
- Carry restrictions
- Have expiration dates where permitted by law
- Be limited to specific products or promotions
Any promotional restrictions will be disclosed at the time of issuance.
11. Expiration
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Butterflies Beading LLC intends for purchased eGift Cards to remain valid until fully redeemed.
Promotional gift cards may have separate expiration terms where permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Butterflies Beading LLC shall not be responsible for:
- Unauthorized use of eGift Cards
- Lost or deleted emails
- Incorrect recipient information
- Technical delivery failures outside our control
- Fraudulent use by third parties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Butterflies Beading LLC’s total liability relating to an eGift Card shall not exceed the remaining balance of the applicable eGift Card.
13. Modification or Termination
Butterflies Beading LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue eGift Card programs at any time, subject to applicable law.
Changes will not affect valid balances already issued unless required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.
14. Governing Law
These Gift Card Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
